The V40D100C-M3/I from Vishay General Semiconductor is a dual high-voltage TMBS (Trench MOS Barrier Schottky) rectifier configured as a common cathode pair.
Key electrical specifications include a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 100V, a total average forward rectified current of 40A (20A per diode), and a low forward voltage drop of 0.63V at 20A and 125°C junction temperature. The device features a high peak forward surge current rating of 250A (10 ms half sine-wave) and a fast recovery speed (<500ns).
Designed for high-frequency DC/DC converters, switching power supplies, freewheeling diodes, OR-ing diodes, and reverse battery protection. The SMPD (TO-263AC) surface mount package has a very low profile (typical height 1.7 mm) and is compatible with automated placement. The part is RoHS-compliant and halogen-free.
