The Vishay Dale V40100PG-E3/45 is a Dual High-Voltage Trench MOS Barrier Schottky Rectifier designed for high efficiency operation. It features Trench MOS Schottky technology, resulting in low forward voltage drop and low power losses.
Key electrical characteristics include a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 100V and a maximum average forward rectified current of 40A per device (20A per diode). The device exhibits a low forward voltage, with a typical value of 0.49V at 5A and 25°C, and 0.42V at 5A and 125°C. The maximum operating junction temperature is 150°C.
This rectifier is suitable for applications such as high frequency inverters, switching power supplies, freewheeling diodes, OR-ing diodes, dc-to-dc converters, and reverse battery protection. It comes in a TO-247AD (TO-3P) package, which is through-hole mounted.
The epoxy used in the case meets UL 94V-0 flammability rating. Terminals are matte tin plated and solderable per J-STD-002 and JESD22-B102.
