The Omron V3A-1 is a low-cost, ultra-compact manual swipe magnetic card reader designed for reading ISO 7810 and ISO 7811-1~6 compliant cards. It supports reading tracks 1, 2, and 3 with a swipe speed range of 10 to 120 cm/s.
The reader uses low-power C-MOS technology and provides a TTL-compatible clock and data interface. It operates from a 5 VDC ±10% power supply and draws 9 mA typical (15 mA maximum) in triple-track operation.
