The V150LA2 is a radial-lead metal oxide varistor (MOV) from Littelfuse's LA series, designed for continuous AC line operation and transient voltage surge suppression. It features a typical varistor voltage of 240V (216V min, 264V max) and maximum continuous operating voltages of 150V AC and 200V DC.
Electrical ratings include a peak pulse current of 1.2kA (8/20 µs) and energy absorption of 13J (10/1000 µs). Capacitance is 180pF at 1 MHz, and the temperature coefficient is less than 0.01%/°C. The device operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 85°C and can be stored from -55°C to 125°C.
The varistor is housed in a Disc 7mm package with through hole mounting and radial leads. It is available in tape and reel or bulk pack. Agency approvals include UL, CSA, VDE, and CECC with file numbers UL E75961, E56529, E135010; CSA LR91788; VDE 116895E; CECC 42201-006.
