The UTP02235S is a 35 position circular connector receptacle housing designed for female sockets, part of the UTP series from Souriau-Sunbank by Eaton. This housing features a shell size of 22-35 and accepts size 16 crimp contacts. It is designed for panel mounting with a flange and utilizes a bayonet lock fastening system for secure mating.
The housing is constructed from glass-filled polyester with a black finish and is unshielded. It carries a UL94 V-0 flammability rating, making it suitable for applications requiring flame retardant materials. The UTP series is intermateable and interchangeable with UTO, UTG, and UTS series connectors, offering design flexibility.
This receptacle housing is intended for use with Trim Trio size 16 contacts (sold separately). The bayonet lock provides a rapid and secure connection with an audible click. The normal orientation ensures straightforward alignment during mating.
