Leveraging Microchip's innovative MultiTRAK™ technology, it delivers industry-leading data throughput in mixed-speed USB environments.

 

This hub controller supports over 30 programmable features, including PortMap, PortSwap, and PHYBoost, to simplify PCB layout and optimize bill-of-material costs. Each downstream port can be enabled to support the USB Battery Charging 1.1 specification as a Charging Downstream Port (CDP), providing universal battery charging capability. The device operates from a single external 3.3 V supply, with internal regulators providing a 1.2 V core voltage.

 

Available in a space-saving 36-pin QFN package measuring 6x6 mm, the USX2064T/M2 offers an ultra-small footprint suitable for space-constrained designs. It supports both self-powered and bus-powered operation and includes integrated USB termination and pull-up/pulldown resistors. The device also features 4 kilovolts of HBM ESD protection.
