This ensures that 5 Gbps SuperSpeed data transfers are not affected by slower USB 2.0 traffic. The controller also supports battery charging on a per-port basis, with automatic USB data line handshaking for USB 1.2 Charging Downstream Port (CDP) and Dedicated Charging Port (DCP).
