The USB50412CE3/TR7 is a bidirectional Zener TVS diode from Microchip Technology designed to protect sensitive electronics from voltage transients. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 12V and a clamping voltage of 26V at a peak pulse current of 5A (8/20µs). With a peak pulse power rating of 500W, it provides robust protection for Ethernet interfaces and other data lines.
This TVS diode offers a low typical capacitance of 3pF at 1MHz, making it suitable for high-speed signal lines without significant signal degradation. It is not intended for power line protection, as indicated by its power line protection specification of 'No'.
The device is housed in a surface-mount TO-253-4 / TO-253AA package, also known as SOT-143, and operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 150°C. It is RoHS3 compliant and has an MSL of 1 (unlimited). The part is supplied in tape and reel packaging.
