USB3310C-CP

The Microchip Technology USB3310C-CP is a Hi-Speed USB Transceiver compliant with the Universal Serial Bus Specification Rev 2.0 and the ULPI Specification revision 1.1. It features a 1.8V IO voltage and utilizes flexPWR® Technology for low current consumption, making it ideal for battery-powered devices.

This transceiver supports various USB features including FS pre-amble, HS SOF, and LS keep-alive pulse. It also includes full support for the optional On-The-Go (OTG) protocol, enabling features like Host Negotiation Protocol (HNP) and Session Request Protocol (SRP). The device offers selectable reference clock frequencies of 13, 19.2, 24, or 26MHz and includes an internal low jitter PLL for 480MHz Hi-Speed USB operation.

Designed for optimal timing performance, the USB3310C-CP has a 'wrapper-less' design and a low latency Hi-Speed Receiver. It incorporates internal 5V cable short-circuit protection for ID, DP, and DM lines. The device also features an integrated battery to 3.3V LDO regulator and ESD protection circuits capable of up to ±15kV.

Packaged in a 24-pin QFN (4x4 mm) lead-free RoHS compliant package, this transceiver is suitable for applications where board space, power, and interface pins must be minimized, such as cell phones, PDAs, MP3 players, and portable media players.
