The Microchip Technology USB2422T-I/MJ is a high-performance, low-power, 2-port USB 2.0 Hi-Speed Hub Controller IC designed for embedded USB solutions. It supports Low-Speed, Full-Speed, and Hi-Speed downstream devices.
This hub controller integrates essential USB termination and pull-up/pull-down resistors, simplifying the bill-of-materials for cost-effective designs. It operates from a single external 3.3V supply, with internal regulators providing a 1.2V core voltage. The device features ESD protection up to 6 kV on all USB pins and supports self-powered operation.
Available in a compact 24-pin SQFN (4x4 mm) package, the USB2422T-I/MJ is suitable for a wide range of applications including LCD monitors, multi-function USB peripherals, PC motherboards, printers, scanners, and embedded systems. It supports both commercial (0°C to +70°C) and industrial (-40°C to +85°C) temperature ranges.
