The Microchip Technology USB2412-DZK-TR is a low-power, single transaction translator (STT) hub controller IC designed for embedded USB applications. It features two downstream ports that support low-speed, full-speed, and hi-speed downstream devices.
This hub controller is fully compliant with the USB 2.0 Specification and operates from a single external 3.3V supply, with internal regulators providing a 1.2V core voltage. It includes integrated USB termination and pull-up/pull-down resistors, as well as ESD protection up to 4 kilovolts on all USB pins. The device supports self-powered operation and has a built-in default configuration, eliminating the need for external configuration components.
Designed for high performance and low power consumption, the USB2412-DZK-TR is optimized for minimal bill-of-materials and low-cost designs. It comes in a 28-pin QFN (5x5 mm) lead-free, RoHS compliant package and supports the commercial temperature range of 0°C to +70°C.
