The US1KFA is a super fast surface mount rectifier from onsemi's US1AFA-US1MFA family. It features a glass passivated chip junction for low power loss and high efficiency. With a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 800V and an average forward rectified current of 1A, it is suitable for high frequency rectification in power supplies and inverters. The diode has a fast reverse recovery time of 75ns maximum, which reduces switching losses.
Electrical characteristics include a forward voltage drop of 1.7V maximum at 1A, a reverse current of 5 µA at 25°C and 150 µA at 125°C, and a junction capacitance of 15 pF typical. The device can handle a peak forward surge current of 30A (8.3 ms single half sine-wave). The operating junction temperature range is -55°C to +150°C.
The US1KFA is packaged in the SOD-123FL surface mount package, which is supplied in tape and reel with 3000 units per reel. It is RoHS compliant, Pb-Free, Halogen Free, and has MSL 1 classification. This diode is ideal for applications requiring fast switching and high reliability.
