The US1D is an ultrafast recovery rectifier diode from Diotec Semiconductor, part of the US1 series. It is designed for rectification of higher frequencies and high speed switching applications in commercial and industrial grade equipment.
Key electrical specifications include a maximum DC blocking voltage of 200 V, average forward rectified current of 1 A at 100°C case temperature, and a forward voltage drop of less than 1.0 V at 1 A and 25°C. The reverse recovery time is a maximum of 50 ns, enabling efficient high-frequency operation. The diode can handle peak forward surge currents of 33 A (60 Hz, 8.3 ms) and 30 A (50 Hz, 10 ms), with a rating for fusing of 4.5 A²s. Typical junction capacitance is 10 pF at 4 V reverse bias.
The device is housed in a DO-214AC (SMA) surface mount package, with a weight of approximately 0.07 g. It supports solder and assembly conditions of 260°C for 10 seconds and has an MSL of 1 (unlimited). The operating junction temperature range is -50°C to 150°C. The US1D is compliant with RoHS, REACH, and Conflict Minerals requirements, and the case material is UL 94V-0 rated.
