The Vicor MicroRAM URAM3TG1 is an output ripple attenuator module that combines active and passive filtering to achieve greater than 40dB of noise attenuation from 60Hz to 1MHz. This module operates over a wide input voltage range of 3 to 30V DC and is available in 20A models.
Featuring a closed-loop architecture, the MicroRAM greatly improves load-transient response with its dual-mode control, providing precise point-of-load voltage regulation. It also supports redundant and parallel operation through an integrated ORing diode function. The URAM3TG1 is compatible with most manufacturers' switching converters, including Vicor's VI-200/VI-J00 and Maxi, Mini, and Micro series DC-DC converters.
