The Vicor URAM2M11 is an output ripple attenuation module that combines active and passive filtering to achieve over 40dB of noise attenuation from 60Hz to 1MHz. It operates over a wide input voltage range of 3-30 VDC and is available in 20A and 30A models.
This module significantly improves load transient response and supports redundant and parallel operation with its integrated OR'ing diode function. It is compatible with most manufacturers' switching converters. The URAM2M11 is housed in Vicor's standard micro package, a quarter brick, with various termination options for through-hole, socket, or surface mount applications.
Key features include high efficiency up to 98%, user-selectable performance optimization, and combined active and passive filtering. The module's closed-loop architecture ensures precise point-of-load voltage regulation.
