UR5595L-S08-R

The UTC UR5595L-S08-R is a linear bus termination regulator designed to meet JEDEC SSTL-2 and SSTL-3 specifications for DDR-SDRAM termination. It features a high-speed operational amplifier for excellent transient response, capable of delivering 1.5A continuous current and transient peaks up to 3A. The device includes an independent VSENSE pin for superior load regulation and provides a VREF output as a reference for chipsets and DIMMs. The VTT output can sink and source current, regulating the output voltage to VDDQ/2.

This regulator incorporates two distinct power rails, AVIN and PVIN, separating analog circuitry from the power output stage. This design reduces internal power dissipation and allows the UR5595 to provide a termination solution for DDRII SDRAM. Key features include power regulating with driving and sinking capability, low output voltage offset, no external resistors required, and low external component count. It operates within a supply voltage range of 2.2V to 5.5V for AVIN and up to 6V for PVIN, AVIN, and VDDQ.

The UR5595L-S08-R is available in SOP-8 and HSOP-8 packages, both suitable for surface mount applications and supplied on tape and reel. It also includes thermal shutdown protection for enhanced reliability.
