The Sensata APL/UPL series UPL11-5872-5 is a hydraulic magnetic circuit protector designed for reliable power switching, circuit protection, and control. This two-pole breaker features a lever actuator for manual operation, similar to an ON-OFF switch. Upon detecting an overload, the internal mechanism trips, opening the contacts and forcibly returning the handle to the OFF position. The "trip free" design ensures the internal contacts will not remain closed during an overload, even if the handle is held in the ON position.
