The Sensata-Airpax UPL11-3764-3 is a magnetic hydraulic delay circuit breaker designed for reliable power switching, circuit protection, and control. It features a 2-pole configuration with lever actuation, suitable for panel mounting.
This legacy product operates similarly to an ON-OFF switch under normal load conditions. Upon detecting an overload, its internal mechanism trips, opening the contacts and forcibly returning the handle to the OFF position. The 'trip-free' design ensures the internal contacts cannot remain closed during an overload, even if the handle is held in the ON position.
While designed for industrial, military, and information processing applications, its precision operation makes it suitable for various demanding environments. The APL/UPL series, including this model, is recognized by UL per UL STD. 1077 as supplementary protectors and certified by CSA per CSA STD. C22.2–No. 235.
Note: The APL/UPL series is a legacy product, and no new design-in orders are being accepted. Sensata Technologies recommends the Airpax™ IAL series for new designs.
