The Sensata UPL11-24371-3 is a hydraulic magnetic circuit breaker from the APL/UPL series. It features a 2-pole configuration with a lever actuator for manual operation.
Designed for reliable circuit protection and control, this breaker operates similarly to an ON-OFF switch. Upon detecting an overload, its internal mechanism trips, opening the contacts and forcibly returning the handle to the OFF position. This 'trip-free' design ensures the contacts cannot be held closed during an overload condition, even if the handle is manually held in the ON position.
This model is suitable for panel mounting. The APL/UPL series is recognized by UL per UL STD. 1077 as supplementary protectors and certified by CSA per CSA STD. C22.2–No. 235.
