The Sensata UPL1-28147-1 is a hydraulic magnetic circuit protector from the APL/UPL series, designed for reliable power switching, circuit protection, and control. This single-pole unit features a lever actuator for manual operation, similar to an ON-OFF switch. In the event of an overload, the internal mechanism trips, opening the contacts and forcibly returning the handle to the OFF position. The protector is 'trip free,' ensuring contacts do not remain closed under overload conditions, even if the handle is held ON.
