The Sensata UPL1-26837-1 is a hydraulic magnetic circuit protector from the APL/UPL series. This single-pole unit is designed for panel mounting and features a convenient lever actuator for operation. It functions similarly to an ON-OFF switch, opening the circuit under normal load conditions. Upon detecting an overload, the internal mechanism trips, forcibly returning the handle to the OFF position, ensuring protection even if the handle is held ON.
This circuit breaker is suitable for applications requiring precision operation, including industrial, military, and information processing systems. It is recognized by UL per UL STD. 1077 as a supplementary protector and certified by CSA per CSA STD. C22.2–No. 235. The APL/UPL line offers various configurations, including different delays and ratings, and multi-pole assemblies are available.
