The Sensata UPL1-25676-23 is a hydraulic magnetic circuit protector from the APL/UPL series. This single-pole device is designed for panel mounting and features a convenient lever actuator for operation. It provides reliable, low-cost power switching, circuit protection, and circuit control.
Upon overload, the internal mechanism trips, opening the contacts and forcibly returning the handle to the OFF position. The protector is 'trip free,' meaning the internal contacts will not remain closed in the presence of an overload, even if the handle is held in the ON position. This product is noted as a legacy product with 'Existing Design-In Only' status. No new design-in orders are being accepted, and the 205 series is being discontinued. For new designs, Sensata Technologies recommends utilizing the Airpax™ IAL series.
