The Sensata UPL1-1REC4-29277-20 is a magnetic hydraulic delay circuit breaker designed for reliable power switching and circuit protection. It features a panel mount configuration and a single pole design.
This circuit breaker operates similarly to an ON-OFF switch under normal load conditions. Upon detecting an overload, its internal mechanism trips, opening the contacts and forcibly returning the handle to the OFF position. The 'trip free' design ensures the internal contacts cannot remain closed during an overload, even if the handle is held in the ON position.
This product is part of the APL/UPL series, which offers various configurations including series, shunt, and relay types with selectable delays and ratings. Multi-pole assemblies are also available. The APL/UPL series is recognized by UL per UL STD. 1077 and certified by CSA per CSA STD. C22.2–No. 235 as supplementary protectors.
