The Sensata UPL1-1REC4-24103-2 is a magnetic hydraulic delay circuit breaker. This single-pole device features a lever actuator and is designed for panel mounting.
This product is part of the APL/UPL series and is identified as a legacy product. Sensata Technologies recommends the Airpax™ IAL series for new designs. The APL/UPL series provides reliable, low-cost power switching, circuit protection, and circuit control. The internal mechanism trips upon overload, opening the contacts and forcibly returning the handle to the OFF position. The protector is "trip free," meaning the internal contacts will not remain closed in the presence of an overload, even if the handle is held in the ON position.
While designed for industrial, military, and information processing applications, the APL is suitable for use in any situation where precision operation is required. Most versions of the APL family are recognized by UL per UL STD. 1077 as supplementary protectors and certified by CSA per CSA STD. C22.2–No. 235 as supplementary protectors and are designated with the UPL prefix.
