The Sensata UPL1-11-794 is a magnetic hydraulic delay circuit breaker designed for reliable power switching, circuit protection, and control. This single-pole unit features lever actuation and is intended for panel mounting.
This legacy product, part of the APL/UPL series, provides dependable circuit protection. Upon overload, the internal mechanism trips, opening the contacts and forcibly returning the handle to the OFF position. The protector is 'trip free,' meaning the internal contacts will not remain closed under overload conditions, even if the handle is held in the ON position.
While this product is a legacy design and no new design-in orders are being accepted, it was designed for industrial, military, and information processing applications where precision operation is required. Sensata Technologies recommends the Airpax™ IAL series as a suitable alternative for new designs.
This circuit breaker is recognized by UL per UL STD. 1077 as a supplementary protector and certified by CSA per CSA STD. C22.2–No. 235 as a supplementary protector.
