The Sensata UPGHF66-30424-38 is a 2-pole hydraulic magnetic circuit breaker from the APG/UPG/IPG series. It is designed for reliable circuit protection and control, utilizing a current-sensitive hydraulic magnetic principle. This breaker features a lever actuator and is intended for panel mounting.
This legacy product is suitable for applications requiring precise operation, such as data processing and broadcast equipment, vending and amusement machines, and military and marine applications. Temperature compensation is not a concern, and nuisance tripping is minimized. The APG/UPG series is available in various configurations, including DC, 50/60Hz, or 400Hz versions, and single or multi-pole assemblies.
Note that this is a legacy product, and Sensata Technologies recommends the Airpax™ IAG series for new designs. The UPG circuit protector is recognized under UL Standard 1077 and certified by CSA as a supplementary protector.
