UJA1169TK/FZ

The UJA1169TK/FZ from NXP Semiconductors is a mini high-speed CAN System Basis Chip (SBC). It integrates an ISO 11898-2:201x compliant HS-CAN transceiver, capable of supporting CAN FD active communication up to 2 Mbit/s in the data field. The chip also includes an integrated 5 V or 3.3 V 250 mA scalable supply (V1) for microcontrollers and other loads, along with a watchdog timer and Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI).

This SBC supports very low-current Standby and Sleep modes with bus and local wake-up capabilities. Variants offer different supply configurations, including a second 5 V regulator (V2) and an external 5 V supply (VEXT) for off-board components. The UJA1169xx/F variants enable partial networking with selective wake-up and CAN FD-passive functionality, allowing normal CAN controllers to ignore CAN FD bus traffic in low-power modes without generating errors.

The UJA1169TK/FZ is supplied in a 20-HVSON package and is designed for surface mount applications. It features a dedicated LIMP output pin to flag system failures and stores configuration settings in non-volatile memory for customizable power-on and limp-home behavior.
