The UG-57B/U(40) is a N-Type 50 Ohm straight plug to plug coaxial adapter from Hirose Electric. It is designed for in-line connections between two N-Type male interfaces, featuring threaded coupling on both ends for secure mating.
Electrical performance includes a characteristic impedance of 50 Ohms, a maximum frequency of 2 GHz, and a maximum VSWR of 1.2 up to 2 GHz. Contact resistance is 3 mΩ max, insulation resistance is 1000 MΩ min, and withstanding voltage is 1500 VAC for 1 minute without flashover.
The adapter is constructed with a brass body (silver/nickel plated), brass male contacts (silver/gold plated), beryllium copper female contacts (silver/gold plated), and a PTFE insulator. It is rated for a minimum of 500 mating cycles and operates from -30°C to +60°C with up to 95% RH humidity.
