The UFB200FA40 is a dual diode module featuring two independent ultrafast soft recovery diodes in a single SOT-227 package. It is rated for a maximum DC reverse voltage of 400V and an average rectified current of 100A per leg (200A total per module). The typical forward voltage is 1.0V at 100A and 150°C, with a maximum of 1.24V at 25°C. The fast recovery characteristic provides typical reverse recovery times of 60ns under low-current conditions and 93ns at rated current.
The module is designed for output rectification, freewheeling, and clamping operations in high voltage power supplies, HF welders, motor control, and inverters. The electrically isolated base plate allows for common heatsinks and compact assemblies. The SOT-227 (miniBLOC) package is chassis mountable and features a mounting torque of 1.3 N·m. The junction-to-case thermal resistance is 0.5 °C/W per leg, and the case-to-heatsink thermal resistance is 0.05 °C/W. The operating junction temperature range is -55°C to 150°C.

The maximum DC reverse voltage is 400V.
The maximum average rectified current per diode is 100A at a case temperature of 100°C.
The typical forward voltage is 1.0V at IF=100A and TJ=150°C. The maximum forward voltage at TJ=25°C is 1.2V (or 1.24V per existing DB record).
The typical reverse recovery time is 60ns at IF=1A, VR=30V, diF/dt=200A/µs and 25°C. At rated current (IF=150A, VR=200V, diF/dt=200A/µs) it is 93ns typical at 25°C and 172ns typical at 125°C.
It is offered in a SOT-227-4 (miniBLOC) package for chassis mount.
The maximum power dissipation is 240W for the entire module at a case temperature of 90°C.
The maximum junction-to-case thermal resistance is 0.5°C/W for a single leg conducting, and 0.25 K/W when both legs conduct.
