The UF4006 is a fast recovery rectifier diode designed for general purpose rectification in power supplies and other applications requiring high efficiency. It has a maximum repetitive reverse voltage (VRRM) of 800V and an average rectified forward current (IF(AV)) of 1.0A at 75°C ambient with 0.375" lead length. The device offers a low forward voltage drop of 1.7V maximum at 1A, and a fast reverse recovery time (trr) of 75ns, making it suitable for high-frequency switching circuits.
The UF4006 can handle non-repetitive peak forward surge currents up to 30A (8.3ms single half-sine-wave), providing robustness during startup or fault conditions. It features a glass-passivated junction for high reliability. The diode is housed in a DO-204AL (DO-41) axial-lead through-hole package, which is easy to mount on PCBs or use in point-to-point wiring.
