The UF4005 is a fast rectifier diode from the UF4001-UF4007 series by ON Semiconductor. It features a maximum repetitive reverse voltage of 600V and an average forward current of 1A. The forward voltage drop is typically 1.7V at 1A, with a fast reverse recovery time of 75ns. The device can handle a non-repetitive peak forward surge current of 30A. Its total capacitance is 17pF at 4V.
Packaged in a DO-204AL (DO-41) axial leaded package, the UF4005 is through-hole mountable. It has a glass-passivated junction for high reliability and is Pb-Free. Operating junction temperature range is -65°C to 150°C. Power dissipation is 2.08W with thermal resistance junction-to-ambient of 60°C/W and junction-to-lead of 30°C/W.
Typical applications include general purpose rectification, switching power supplies, inverters, and freewheeling diodes.
