The UF1005-T is a 600V, 1.0A ultra-fast rectifier diode from Diodes Incorporated, part of the UF1001-UF1007 series. It is designed for high-efficiency switching applications requiring fast recovery times, with a maximum reverse recovery time of 75ns (tested at I_F=0.5A, I_R=1.0A, Irr=0.25A). The device offers a forward voltage drop of 1.7V maximum at 1A, and a low reverse leakage current of 5µA at 25°C and 100µA at 100°C.
The diode can handle non-repetitive peak forward surge currents up to 30A (8.3ms single half sine-wave), making it suitable for applications with inrush current conditions. The junction capacitance is typically 10pF at 4V reverse bias, and the thermal resistance junction-to-ambient is 95 K/W. The operating junction temperature range is -65°C to +150°C, with storage temperature also in that range.
The UF1005-T is housed in a DO-204AL (DO-41) axial lead package, with plated leads solderable per MIL-STD-202 Method 208. It is a through-hole mounting component with a cathode band for polarity identification. The molded plastic case has UL flammability classification 94V-0. The typical weight is 0.35 grams.
