The UES2606 is a high-efficiency rectifier diode from Microchip Technology, designed for power switching circuits operating at frequencies of at least 20 kHz. It features a repetitive peak reverse voltage (VRRM) of 400V and an average rectified current (Io) of 30A. The device offers a very fast reverse recovery time (trr) of 50 ns, enabling efficient high-frequency operation.
With a low forward voltage of 1.25V at 15A and a non-repetitive surge current capability of 300A (8.3 ms sinusoidal), the UES2606 provides robust performance in demanding applications. The junction-to-case thermal resistance is 1°C/W, and the operating junction temperature range is -55°C to 150°C.
The diode is housed in a TO-204AA (TO-3) metal can package with through-hole mounting. It features a common cathode polarity configuration and weighs 12.7 g. The device is suitable for use as catch diodes in switching regulators and output rectifiers in high-frequency square-wave inverters.
