The UDZ15B-7 from Diodes Incorporated is a surface mount precision Zener diode designed for automated assembly processes. It offers very sharp breakdown characteristics and a very tight tolerance on the Zener breakdown voltage, rated at 14.66V with a maximum power dissipation of 200mW.
This diode is housed in a compact SOD-323 (SC-76) package, making it suitable for space-constrained applications. The terminals are finished with matte tin annealed over Alloy 42 leadframe, solderable per MIL-STD-202, Method 208. The operating temperature range is -65°C to +150°C.
The device is described as totally lead-free and fully RoHS compliant, as well as halogen and antimony free, meeting "Green" device standards. It is supplied in tape and reel packaging, with 3,000 units per reel as standard.
Key electrical characteristics include a maximum Zener impedance of 42 Ω at an IZK of 100 uA, and a maximum reverse current of 100 nA at 11V.
