The Semtech UCLAMP1201P.TCT is a unidirectional Zener TVS diode designed for general purpose circuit protection. It features a 12V reverse standoff voltage and a maximum clamping voltage of 25V at a peak pulse current of 8A (8/20µs waveform). The device can handle up to 200W of peak pulse power, providing robust transient voltage suppression.
This TVS diode offers a typical capacitance of 60pF at 1MHz, making it suitable for protecting high-speed data lines without significant signal degradation. It is not intended for power line protection.
The part is surface mountable in a 2-UDFN package with supplier device package SLP1006P2, enabling compact PCB layouts. It operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 125°C, suitable for a wide variety of environments.
