The Semtech UCLAMP0501Z.TNT is an ultra-small TVS diode designed for transient voltage protection on data and power lines. It offers robust protection against ESD events, with a 5V reverse standoff voltage and a 12V clamping voltage at 1A peak pulse current.
This device is suitable for board-level protection in portable electronics such as cell phones, notebooks, and digital cameras. It features a low clamping voltage, fast response time, and no device degradation, making it an ideal replacement for multi-layer varistors (MLVs).
The UCLAMP0501Z.TNT is packaged in a compact SLP0603P2X3 (0201 metric) surface-mount package, measuring 0.60mm x 0.30mm. It has a low capacitance of 10pF at 1MHz and leads finished with NiPdAu. The device operates from -55°C to 125°C.
