It also provides nonvolatile error and peak-value logging for up to 12 fault detail entries. The UCD90160ARGCT supports closed-loop margining for 10 rails, allowing rail voltages to be adjusted to user-defined thresholds. Additional features include a programmable watchdog timer, system reset functionality, and the ability to cascade multiple devices for coordinated fault responses.

 

Designed for surface mount installation, the UCD90160ARGCT comes in a 64-VQFN (9x9 mm) package. It supports flexible digital I/O configuration and offers pin-selected rail states for ACPI support. The integrated multi-phase PWM clock generator provides clock frequencies from 15.259 kHz to 125 MHz, with configurable independent clock outputs for synchronizing switch-mode power supplies. Communication interfaces include JTAG and I2C/SMBus/PMBus™.
