UCD3138128PFCR

The Texas Instruments UCD3138128PFCR is a highly-integrated digital controller designed for isolated power applications, including Power Factor Correction (PFC). This device is housed in an 80-TQFP package and operates across a wide temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.

Key features include 64 kB and 128 kB of program flash memory, with support for execution from one bank while programming another, enabling firmware updates without shutting down the power supply. It offers digital control of up to 3 independent feedback loops and includes a dedicated PID-based hardware controller. The device incorporates an Error A/D Converter (EADC) capable of up to 16 MSPS and provides up to 8 high-resolution Digital Pulse Width Modulated (DPWM) outputs with 250 ps pulse width resolution.

Additional communication ports compared to the UCD3138 family include +1 SPI and +1 I2C. The UCD3138128PFCR supports boot flash-based dual memory image for 'on the fly' firmware updates.
