The Texas Instruments UCC2946D is a microprocessor supervisor IC designed to provide accurate supervision, including reset and watchdog functions. It features a fully programmable reset threshold and period, with a 2% accurate reset threshold.
This device asserts a reset signal when VDD is as low as 1V, remaining asserted until the voltage rises above the threshold for the programmed reset period. It is also resistant to glitches on the VDD line. The UCC2946D has an input voltage down to 1V and a maximum input current of 18µA.
Packaged in an 8-SOIC (0.154", 3.90mm Width) surface mount configuration, the UCC2946D operates within an ambient temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. It monitors a single voltage channel and provides a push-pull, totem pole output.
This supervisor IC is suitable for applications requiring reliable power-on reset and system monitoring.
