The UC2834N also includes a fault monitoring circuit that detects under- and over-voltage conditions. After a user-defined delay for transient rejection, it provides a fault alert output. In over-voltage scenarios, a 100mA crowbar output is activated, and an over-voltage latch can maintain this output to shut down driver outputs.

 

This regulator controller operates within a voltage range of 5V to 35V and has a maximum driver current of 400mA. It is specified for an operating temperature range of -55°C to 150°C. The UC2834N is housed in a 16-PDIP package and is designed for through-hole mounting.
