The Hirose U.FL-R-SMT-1(60) is a surface-mount micro coaxial receptacle from the U.FL series, designed for space-constrained RF applications. It offers a 50 Ohm impedance and supports frequencies up to 8 GHz, making it suitable for wireless communication modules and antenna connections.
This receptacle features a snap-on fastening mechanism for secure mating with U.FL plugs, and both the center contact and shield are terminated via solder. The housing is beige, and the center contact is made of brass. The mated height ranges from 1.9 mm to 2.4 mm, and the component weighs only 15.7 mg, occupying just 7.7 mm² of substrate area.
