TVP5151IPBSR

The Texas Instruments TVP5151IPBSR is an ultralow-power video decoder designed for NTSC, PAL, and SECAM video formats. It supports ITU-R BT.601 standard sampling and features a high-speed 9-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC). The device offers flexibility with two composite inputs or one S-Video input and includes fully differential CMOS analog preprocessing channels with clamping and automatic gain control for optimal signal-to-noise performance.

This video decoder IC provides control over brightness, saturation, hue, and sharpness through an I2C interface. It incorporates adaptive comb filters for noise reduction and a patented architecture for locking to weak or unstable signals. The TVP5151IPBSR supports various programmable video output formats, including ITU-R BT.656 and 8-bit 4:2:2 with embedded or discrete syncs. It also handles advanced VBI data, Teletext, and Closed-Caption decoding.
