The Texas Instruments TVP5150APBS is an ultralow power video decoder IC designed for NTSC, PAL, and SECAM video standards. It supports various video input configurations, including two composite inputs or one S-video input, and features a high-speed 9-bit ADC for accurate signal conversion.
This device offers comprehensive video processing capabilities, including automatic gain control (AGC) for optimal signal-to-noise performance and adaptive comb filters for noise reduction. Control of brightness, contrast, saturation, hue, and sharpness is managed via an I2C interface. The TVP5150APBS supports standard and advanced programmable video output formats, including ITU-R BT.656.
