TUSB2077APT

The TUSB2077APT from Texas Instruments is a highly integrated USB 2.0 hub controller designed for full-speed operation at 12Mbps. This device supports both self-powered and bus-powered modes, offering flexibility in system design. In self-powered mode, it can support up to seven downstream ports, while in bus-powered mode, it supports four downstream ports. All downstream ports are capable of handling both full-speed and low-speed USB operations.

The controller features integrated USB transceivers and operates on a low-power 3.3V ASIC logic. It includes power switching and overcurrent reporting, which can be configured per port or ganged. The TUSB2077APT supports suspend and resume operations, with a suspend status pin available for external logic power down. It also offers the capability to support custom Vendor ID and Product ID through an external serial EEPROM, with a 3-state EEPROM interface allowing for shared use.

Designed for ease of integration, the TUSB2077APT features push-pull outputs for PWRON, eliminating the need for external pull-up resistors. It incorporates noise filtering on the OVRCUR signal for immunity to voltage spikes. The device supports clock operation via a crystal input or a 48-MHz input clock. Additionally, it provides three LED indicator control outputs for visualized monitoring.

Packaged in a 48-LQFP, the TUSB2077APT is suitable for a wide range of applications requiring USB hub functionality. Its operating temperature range is from 0°C to 70°C, and it is available in various packaging options including JEDEC trays and tape & reel.
