The TUSB1046-DCIRNQT from Texas Instruments is an active crosspoint switch designed for USB Type-C applications, supporting USB 3.1 SSP and DisplayPort 1.4 lanes. This device functions as a 10 Gbps linear redriver, capable of up to 14 dB of equalization, ensuring signal integrity for high-speed data transmission.
It features an ultra-low-power architecture and is transparent to DisplayPort link training. The redriver includes automatic LFPS de-emphasis control to meet USB 3.1 certification requirements. Configuration can be managed through GPIO or I2C, and the device is hot-plug capable.
The TUSB1046-DCIRNQT is housed in a compact 4 mm x 6 mm, 0.4 mm pitch WQFN package, suitable for surface mounting.
