The Samtec TSW-107-08-L-D is a 14-position, dual-row through hole header with a 2.54mm (0.100") pitch. It features unshrouded male square pins made of phosphor bronze with a tin plating (10µin thickness) over 50µin nickel. The insulator is black polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating.
This header is designed for board-to-board or cable-to-board connections and mates with Samtec socket strips such as SSQ, SSW, SLW, SSM, BCS, and SNT. Current rating varies by mating connector, with a maximum of 6.3A per pin when mated with SSQ (2 positions powered). Voltage rating reaches 550 VAC when mated with SSW. Operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C.
The part is packaged in bulk and uses through-hole solder termination. The lead style -08 corresponds to a 0.530" overall contact length with a 0.200" post height. Note that the TSW series is not lead-free solderable; lead wave soldering is required.
