The TSW-102-07-S-D is a through-hole header from Samtec's TSW series, offering a 4-position, 2-row configuration on 2.54mm (0.100") pitch. It features unshrouded male square pins with a 0.025" (0.635mm) square post, a post length of 5.84mm (0.230"), and an overall contact length of 10.92mm (0.430"). The insulator is made of black PBT rated UL94 V-0, and contacts are phosphor bronze with 30µin gold over 50µin nickel, with tin tail plating.
Electrically, this header is rated for 550 VAC when mated with an SSW socket strip, and each pin can carry 5.7 A under 2-position powered conditions (mated with SSW). It operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C. The lead style -07 provides the best interface with IDC cable assemblies.
The component is designed for board-to-board or cable applications and mates with a wide variety of Samtec socket strips such as SSW, SSQ, BCS, and IDC cable assemblies. It is packaged in bulk and is mounted via through-hole solder termination. Note that this part is not lead-free solderable and requires wave soldering.
