It features a through hole mounting style with solder termination and a push-pull fastening type. The connector is fully shrouded with a 4-wall design and includes a keying slot for polarization.

 

The contacts are made of phosphor bronze with a selective plating of 10µin (0.25µm) gold on the mating post and matte tin on the tail. The insulator is black glass-filled PBT with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating. The operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C with gold plating.

 

Electrical ratings include 3.4A per contact current rating, 425 VAC / 600 VDC voltage rating, and 5000 MΩ minimum insulation resistance. The connector mates with Samtec IDSD and HCSD series IDC socket assemblies.
