The insulator is black liquid crystal polymer (LCP) with UL94 V-0 flammability rating. This header is designed for surface mount soldering termination and is suitable for board-to-board or cable applications. It is rated for operating temperatures from -55°C to 105°C. The part is RoHS3 compliant, lead-free solderable, and has MSL 1 unlimited moisture sensitivity. As an Extended Life Product, it passes 10-year mixed flowing gas testing and supports up to 250 to 2,500 mating cycles. It is also Severe Environment Testing (SET) qualified, meeting MIL-DTL-55302 testing requirements. The standard packaging is tube with 38 pieces per tube.
