The TSM-106-01-S-SV is a 6-position single-row surface mount pin header from Samtec's TSM series. It features a 2.54mm (0.100") pitch and 5.84mm (0.230") post height, designed for board-to-board or cable-to-board applications. The contacts are made of phosphor bronze with 30µin gold plating on the mating area and matte tin on the termination tails, ensuring reliable connections and compatibility with lead-free soldering processes.
The insulator is black liquid crystal polymer (LCP) with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating, operating from -55°C to 125°C. The unshrouded design allows mating with a variety of Samtec sockets such as SSW, SSM, BCS, and IDSS/IDSD cable connectors. The surface mount termination facilitates automated assembly.
This connector supports data rates up to 8 Gbps and is qualified for Severe Environment Testing (SET), meeting MIL-DTL-55302 testing standards. It is lead-free solderable and designed for high-reliability applications requiring up to 2,500 mating cycles when combined with appropriate sockets.
